A New Location to Celebrate the 2018 Holiday Season

Old Town Rocklin Tree Lighting is co-sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Rocklin, the City of Rocklin, the Rocklin Historical Society and many other community groups. An ALL FREE event for the children of the community traditionally held first Saturday of December. Historically this event has been held on Front Street by St. Mary's Chapel. 

AS OF THE 2018 SEASON, THIS EVENT HAS BEEN RELOCATED TO QUARRY PARK OFF ROCKLIN ROAD. PLEASE UPDATE YOUR CALENDAR AND FRIENDS! HISTORIC ROCKLIN IS GROWING IN EXCITING NEW WAYS!!

A fun filled evening, opening procession is at 4PM with the Rocklin Holiday Tree Lighting conclusion at 7pm. The Tree Lighting Committee is composed of members of service clubs, businesses, schools, churches, and charitable organizations including for example, Kiwanis, Rotary, 180 Church, Rocklin Historical Society and Rocklin Residents United for Fido (RRUFF). The informal event is supported primarily by in-kind products and funds donated by businesses and solicited by the committee members. City Public Services assists with street closures, logistics, and promotion. Kiwanis of Rocklin Foundation maintains accounting of Old Town Rocklin Tree Lighting funds, receives charitable donations, holds and disperses funds as required.
